Spooky SFW | Out in the Woods
Added 2025-05-03 18:00:09 +0000 UTCWhen I was a child, it was just me and my mother. We lived in a property owned by my grandma, an old, three-story farmhouse right at the fringe of the woods. It was far off the road, down a long, unlit, gravel driveway. It felt very isolated at night, being so distant from any other houses, set in an area that hadn't been inhabited for thirty years before we started living in it.

One thing I love about stories that take place with a forest setting or feature is how much of an βold world horrorβ feeling it evokes a la The VVitch. Old world horror referring to just how dark the natural world was/still can be. These are always enjoyable to listen to! Thanks as always Victoria π
