I've played them both on stream, we laughed, we cried, and we had entire breakdowns due to how well done and emotional the story is. The next season will be an intense emotional rollercoaster, and I hope you'll experience it with me. Thank you very much for all of your support, and simply being here. I love you guys 🤗😇❤️

2025-04-21 09:35:23 +0000 UTCSoooo, lol, you kinda spoiled it at the end there, V, lol. As far as we knew, at this point in the game and show, Ellie only 'suspects' Joel didn't tell her the truth. As game players, we know that Ellie is giving shade to Joel because she found out what he did to the Fireflies and she hasn't let him know that she knows, yet. I love seeing the little changes they make from the video game to format the story to tv. The roots in the pipes, the opening scene with Abby's crew to establish motive, Eugene's wife (AND she's played by Catherine O'Hara, are you kidding me!). Did you catch the similarity between why Gail hated Joel and why we suspect why Ellie hates Joel? Gail said she hated him, not for killing her husband, but for How he did it. It makes that scene so much more powerful when we know that it probably dawns on Joel that everybody will hate him if they knew How he 'saved' Ellie. Its How Joel does what he does that people got a problem with. Not 100% why, but How. Crazy powerful scene. I loved this guy you never see in Last of Us 2, Eugene. He had this whole pot farm and man cave and how he used his remnants of electricity that he salvaged to not only have a hydroponics growery but also to play the last remaining games of the PS2, lol. Its sad because we never really find out what happened to Eugene, we just play as Ellie rummaging through his stuff. But you also feel represented as a gamer in their world that managed to make it this far...as you play as Ellie scrap hunting through, most likely, a dead man's things, lol. Neil Druckmann came out and said he wanted to go a different direction with Abby for the show, so i knew this was coming. She could still be given the training montages since it was 5 years from the incident at the Fireflies to when they find Joel but I agree. They should've stuck with the 'swole' Abby to give representation to the ladies, but also to give this visceral feel to Abby's motivation and commitment.
