While I do stand by those recommendations personally, I was talking to some of my friends who are even better anime aficionados and trends analysts of likely to be popular quality anime. I realized that my first list was too heavily dependent on crunchyroll, personal interests, and not all of your followers may have access. My friends went through a massive list and forced me to recognize what might be in your best interest to watch (Better for reactions, less old school, and with limited time requirement). Therefore, here is a truncated and edited list: Spy x Family continues to remain a favorite due to its availability on Hulu & Crunchyroll, its 2022 release and expected continued popularity as a new 2nd season comes out. Vinland Saga is a new addition to the list as it is available on Netflix has significant popularity, started in 2019 and has a new season coming out soon. ToraDora is a popular Anime Rom com, it’s Netflix with 25 episodes and has a solid story for something different than battle anime. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is 2016 and 12 episodes and available on Amazon Prime. Finally, as much as I love the original Trigun, there is a modern retelling that is about to come out. If you want something Ground Floor: “Trigun Stampede” just released a first episode on Hulu. I have seen nothing but the trailers but the reviews are phenomenal and I just found out about it yesterday. Sorry for the delay in getting this list to you. Other names of Anime were curated, but I did not want to overwhelm you. If you wish for more info, feel free to contact me.

2023-01-07 06:26:05 +0000 UTCAnimated movies... The Secret of N.I.H.M., The Last Unicorn, Wizards, Heavy Metal. Not Animated but puppets: The Dark Crystal. Not sure how you would get past the YouTube sensors with Heavy Metal due to how many songs there are (plus some of the nudity).

There is more to anime than demons, superheroes, and tearjerking romances at cineplex Fathom screenings--And we used to think that it was the Japanese who had no sense of humor...

And The Wire is heavy and a little outdated but also a great perspective on the flow of a city and lives within and systems and policies and cycles of life and how a persons daily life can influence personal growth or how it hinders personal growth but also depressing at how the struggle is just on going lol. Honestly don't know if I can recommend The Wire, lol.

I know its probably way too late, but Gettysburg is a pretty epic movie, and its like 3.5 hours long. As far as TV shows to recommend...hmmm...Supernatural springs to mind. At least the first 5 seasons, which are considered the "canon" seasons. Girls und Panzr is a pretty great anime about a world where tank battles is a sport solely for young women. Its charming and wholesome and pretty damn funny, with a few movies to it, so good content there. Gundam Wing is a classic anime, I highly recommend. Movies, I'd throw in Mad Max Fury Road, the 13th Warrior, Conspiracy, Down Periscope, Kingdom of Heaven, Aliens directors cut, Starship Troopers, Conspiracy, Oceans 12 and 13. Lots of good stuff out there V. Have a good one!
