I wouldn't say it was the best Spiderman, the writing was definitely off at times but I still thoroughly enjoyed watching it and had a lot of fun doing so:) I wish that we had a better conclusion to the Tobey Maguire Spiderman because this somehow feels almost like a filler film in comparison to the previous 2, but I still really really liked it and I hope you all do too:) Thank you again everyone!!
ALSO THIS MEANS WE GOING BACK TO MARVEL for the new spiderman multiverse hehe

I can give SM3 (And TASM2 but that's for much later) one thing: It's failure comes from trying too much rather than too little. You've already seen FFH by the time I'm getting around to rewatching these, so I can go ahead and say that's my personal least favorite SM movie. It's "fine", it's solid, but it's also very safe. I appreciate movies like SM3 and TASM2 more because they try so much and so hard... even though they also fail more. I'd rather have an ambitious failure than a safe success. SM3 has a lot of terrible in it, but when it clicks, it creates some of the most visually and thematically breathtaking scenes in the franchise's history. Sandman's creation, the fact that they actually acknowledge the toxicity in the Peter/MJ relationship, the fact that Peter himself has to struggle with an ego for once, the initial Black Suit reveal, so much of this film does work. A lot of it doesn't, but to give credit, even when it doesn't work it's still having the time of it's life. SM3 is a film that is never, ever boring. And I have to respect it for that.
