They do, but they're still better than the recent MIB International. At least 2 & 3 retained some of the tongue-in-cheek sensibility of the first one.

MIB 2 and 3 are fun movies, but I feel they really miss the mark on what made the original so special.

Great reaction! I haven't seen this movie in years and it's still very enjoyable. I lived in NYC most of the 2000s and whenever I took the 7 train passing by Willets Point, I'd think of MiB.

You mention several times how funny Edgar's actor is pretending to be an alien pretending to be a human. Vincent D'Onofrio is one of the best of all time, dramatic or comedic, just a king.

There’s a really creepy scene when Jay is helping the female alien give birth w the Twin towers in the background , and we see two birds flying past Ks head and then disappear behind the father alien’s head. Idk if it’s a known thing or not.

All in all, a pretty fun film series. The next one. MIB II was dealt the lousiest hand. It's climax was supposed to be atop the WTC. Then 9/11 ripped everyone's hearts out. There were rewrites and reshoots. The new ending feels a bit odd.

You should look up the myths and folklore about the real world Men in Black. They say they present themselves so human but not human and walk about and talk robotically or unnaturally like the alien acted after he stole the farmers skin. Theyre usually threatening and rude to people they interact with
