Help me pick which film to react to next!!

Happy Wednesday friends!! :)

Time to pick the movie I will be reacting to for the week!
I added a couple movies that had been widely suggested - "I want to eat your Pancreas" and  "Summer Wars"

And if some movies are not here for this week, don't fret!! We will be cycling them every few weeks to see if the popular opinion changes! 😊
Annnnd since both Wolf Children and Grave of the Fireflies had tied for last week, neither will be on the next poll for GOOD reason ;) just be patient!! 🤗

Thank you and I hope you guys pick something awesome - you guys have yet to disappoint! Keep up the good work~ 🌸✨

** Don't forget, each film will be listed in Japanese therefore if you prefer one of the films to be in english let me know!!

It's added! Thank you for the suggestion Cor Gi. :)

VKunia

Please include Millenium Actress in the next poll. It is seriously one of the best anime films of our generation.

Cor Gi

Don't worry it'll be sub! :)

VKunia

Can we all agree that if/when she watches "Perfect Blue", it needs to be the sub because of a certain critical dubbing mistake that I won't mention for fear of spoilers?

Joshua Taylor

Disappointing to see Paprika getting so few votes, it's such an amazing movie!

Alex

Would really like you to check out Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms. Can we have that on the next poll =)

Thamor

I'll be keeping it up in the polls for a bit since it's so widely requested!! :)

VKunia

I can't imagine how falling asleep that night must've been for everyone who went from watching 'Grave of the Fireflies' then straight to 'My Neighbor Totoro' 😭

VKunia

Of course :) I'll keep it up for the next poll too! 🤗

VKunia

i LOVE that :) I hope Ponyo wins soon!! GIMME SOMETHING HAPPY LMAO

VKunia

I'd like you to watch the director's work whom you do not know yet. One vote for Satoshi Kon's "Perfect Blue". A masterpiece of psycho suspense.

Fun fact. Among Studio Ghibli's movies, I think "My Neighbor Totoro" is the happiest film while "Grave of the fireflies" is the saddest one. However, "Totoro" and "Fireflies" were released on the same bill in 1988. That means the audience of the day had to see, first "Totoro", then "Fireflies", or vice versa. In either case, they must have suffered an emotional roller-coaster.

Thank You summer wars😄

After the the sad movie(s) you had to watch, i wish you something light hearted. So my vote goes for PONYO :-)
