2021-11-17 20:16:53 +0000 UTCIt's a historically rich epicenter of southern culture that isn't explored that often in horror media. I also thought that the high-roller gambling aesthetic and voodoo beliefs of the afterlife fit the tone of the story well and might become more apparent later on!
