She was actually a college dropout not high school. She took dance classes while she was at school and then She studied dance at college for a year but then dropped out and went to New York and still managed to dance in some companies, before focusing on music :)

There is actually some of her early early music out there, like pre-debut album stuff she did in Paris. It's not great but it's very interesting to hear.

The first one was actually a performance on a German TV show. There is no official MV for Holiday. And it still became a global hit in the early days of MTV.

He should definitely listen to the Album first. Those singles were released after a couple album singles and the album had dropped which was (Nov 1984). They make more sense after. Especially stylistically. Hearing Into the Groove (July 1985) before Like a Virgin (Oct 1984) or Material Girl (January 1985) is out of order.

You had me at exclusive Madonna content 😅. People think that madonna looks 80s but in reality the 80s looked like her. The word "wannabe" literally entered the mainstream because every girl wanted to dress like her. There is a wiki page with all madonnas Music videos in Chronological order you can use as a reference. Im sure people like myself in the comments will let you know when there are really awesome things you should see along the journey aside from videos and tours. Excited for you to see the artistry of the highest selling female musician of all time.

Funny you should mention that you felt inspired after watching her - I think that’s one of the many things fans love about Madonna. I say this lovingly regarding Madonna’s confidence - she loves being the center of attention, being on stage, and performing. It’s like her super power lol. Very curious what you’ll think of her 80s styling moving forward…
