Louis Tomlinson - Two Of Us (Richard Documentary)

Louis Tomlinson - Two Of Us (Richard Documentary)

Comments

Steven, I'm so glad you covered this. When I first saw it, I sobbed. I'm a new Louis fan (since July 2023) so I only saw this last year for the first time. My mom passed away from Early Onset Alzheimer's at the age of 60 a mere 50 days after Louis' mom died. And to see Louis show such kindness to Richard here, when Richard reminds me of what my dad went through... it just made me love Louis even more. Your words are also so very kind. Alzheimer's is a different kind of cruel disease for sure. Thanks for covering this!!!

Susan Johnson

I forgot how much i loved this video of Louis. I think i cried about 3 times! I love how much you love Louis just like us fans :)

Katelyn Jones

I'm sobbing... and the thing is I've watched this 5 times before this one. If you want to see more behind the scene you could check out like 'Louis Tomlinson once said' or 'Louis Tomlinson being sassy' or 'Louis Tomlinson being the savage king that he is' or all three of them if you like, you will have a laugh instead of making us cry😂

Dimitriana Hadjiandreou

Hi can you react to Louis just like you please 🙏🏻

Samantha Farnsworth

I love the Steven character progression as a Louie.

April Wier

like usual everytime I watch this video or the video for Two Of Us as well as just listen to it I always cry. I'm currently bawling my eyes

Jess Girling

Lol this so much

Nataile

Oh yeah, and if you want to go back in time I recomend the documentary One Direction - A year in the making. It's their first year as a band after X Factor, they were only teenagers so not really who they are anymore of course but it's where they were and have now grown and developed from. And surely they still have parts of their old self in them too. :)

Sussie

He doesn't do a lot of BTS stuff or videos like this normally. He likes to keep his life private and when he does his charities we often only get to hear about it because the people he has helped talks about it. He's not doing charity for clout. But like many have said, the Director's Cut of We made it and the Q&A for it gives you some insights perhaps. The Zach Zang and Build interviews are long and great interviews where Louis is comfy and happily talking about his album and other things where you see some of his personality. I also love the shorter interview with Glamour Magazine UK it's on youtube too. And the 4-5 clips he put on his YT channel about Breaking down Walls.

Sussie

Hi, I saw someone ask him on twitter if he was going to react to it and his reply was that he watched the live stream so no reaction.

Sussie

Yes, I agree those are great videos/interviews to get to know Louis.

Sussie

Heartwarming for sure. It is emotional and I love that you got to see this side of Louis. So many don't see it. I see peple recomend this video to a lot of reactors but only a few watch it. All that has gets affected by it in some way though, at the very least it has opened their eyes as to who Louis is as a person away from the spotlight. Fans say it all the time but it's different when you actually see it. He's always been so charitable and simply want others to feel good. He helps people all the time. He did so much charity with his mum I think that's partly why he wanted to do something more with this song. To honor her and using it to ask for donations at the end to 3 important causes. So much love for this boy.

Sussie

i wasnt planing to cry at 2am but its okay..

Gina Cedeño Ruiz

This was amazing. I'm smiling with tears. Loved it!

Heather Williams

That was so beautiful. I'm weeping.

Jen Marrs

Welp... here I am bawling... again haha

Zoe W

I don’t know how you did that without crying. I started bawling and I’ve already seen it a 1000 times. Crap. Well Happy New Year everyone!

Donna Groppel

Hey Steven, (or anyone can answer) did you react to Louis-Live in London? I thought you mentioned it on YouTube, but I can’t find it.

Sunnie

Well, that was heartbreaking.

April Wier

My heart just melts when Richard says he still weeps for Pat and Louis says, "Of course! Of course you do..." He is just so gentle and tenderhearted. <3 I get goosebumps thinking of his mom dying so young, too. She had Louis at 18 and they were incredibly close. Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvGbPhjFACk If you can watch him talk about his mom starting at 6:39 and not tear up, I'd be surprised. (Then go watch the whole Year in the Making documentary. It's eye-opening.)

loriinor

Louis also lost one of his younger sisters, so now this song is now for both of them

Rana Hourany

I enjoyed watching you watch this. The emotion was clear in your eyes. Losing someone close to you does hurt a lot, and I couldn't imagine losing your spouse after spending the better part of your life with them. Louis is a good guy for sure, and watching your appreciation for him grow with time and the more you see of him really warms my heart. Enjoying the music is great, but getting to "know" (as much as they let us in, that is, we'll never really truly know them, we only ever get a small glimpse into who they truly are) the person as a human being behind the talent makes it even better.

Angel Green

Louis and his mother did things like this for years, especially for kids.

Mary

Videos like this always show you how important it is to tell your family how much you love them every single day. You never know when it could be too late.

Jacqueline

loved this video, if you want to see more of louis’ personality i really recommend watching his interview with zach sang! one of the best he’s done in my opinion and you get see a lot of his personality in it :)

maddi

This video always makes me tear up, but it's so good. If you're looking for more stuff like this, Louis did a series of short videos called Breaking Down Walls on YouTube that you might like.

Ari

So glad you got to see more of Louis' personality! As you see more of him, you'll only love him more and more. Definitely agree with the recommendations to watch the Zach Sang interview and the Breaking Down Walls videos.

Allison

It’s been a while since I last watched this video and wow it really is powerful. If someone asked me why I love Louis Tomlinson, I would send them this video.

Carissa

I've yet to watch this without tears in my eyes. Louis is genuinely such a good hearted man. I love him more than I can say. Thank you for posting this Steven.

Jeanie

Louis' mom said in an interview once that anytime Louis was having a bad day, he would say "Mum, let's go try to make someones day better". He genuinely loves to help people and cares deeply for everyone he meets. He also found a fans GoFundMe and donated $12000 so that the family could buy her a motorized wheelchair to make her life easier, and since then has given her family tickets and backstages passes to all concerts and events he's done in her area. He is just an amazing person and the world doesn't deserve him, but we'll be thankful for him every single day.

Megan

Also a month before this was released his sister félicité died, gosh he is so strong 🥺❤️

Nathalie

Someone already suggested these but I too recommend watching the we made it director's cut, the director's cut Q&A, and the breaking down walls videos! Oh, also the Build Series & the Zach Sang interviews!! Those are my favorite longer interviews to watch and get to know him!

María Angélica

Hey you should react to one direction X factor journey

Alanna Smith

This is my 6th time watching this video and I have tears of love and appreciation each time. The video was amazing. Thanks for the request, Jen and thanks for the video, Steven.

Dana Cooley-Keith

Thank you! I lost my dad when I was really little so I know what it feels like to lose a parent when your young! Louis truly is the best person with the biggest heart! Richard and Louis spending those precious moments together, Priceless!! ❤️

Pamela Buttke

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm so glad you watched it Steven. I hope it has left you feeling all warm. It's such a special video. I probably should have warned you of how emotional it is though, sorry. I'll think on it future. Thanks for doing my request, it was everything I could have wanted and more! Just when you think you can't love Lou any more, he goes and does this. It makes my heart burst. Lots of love Steven xxx

Jen Southern

As someone with a parent with Alzheimer’s, this touched my heart so much. Loved Richard and love Louis even more for doing this! ❤️

Amber

Thank you so much for this! I have watched it many times and it always makes me emotional! Louis is a literal angel.

Carrie Henkel

LOUIS IS AN ANGEL. Also I know you watched his livestream live but it would be amazing if you watched it againi on patreon with us!

CAMILA

Hi Steven! I don't think there are many BTS - but you should 100% react to his "Director's cut" of We Made it, DLIBYH and Kill My Mind. That video is literally him vs Syco (to those who know his story). He also has a little BTS/interview Breaking Down Walls on his channel, there are 4 parts, I think. He also has miniclips BTS when he was doing promo and shows in the beginning of the year - literally a montage of highlights, but really cool to see him behind the scenes and how he acts and how everyone reacts to him (spoiler: everyone loves him). I love Louis with my whole heart - and I feel the same. Any time I learn more about him, I just fall in love even more. Not a video - however I would highly recommend reading a little about Louis. He is so involved in so many charities (a regular donor to many) and he is just such a **good** person that I can't understand people disliking him.

Bells

Louis is a literal angel. All he has had to face, he still makes time for people like Richard and for the charities he supports and such. Deserves every bit of praise people like you give him, but never asks for it and even when he does acknowledge it, it is with humility and grace. You could check this video out for a little more vocals and k behind the scene stuf. https://youtu.be/_pOFjAW5mzA

Sam Randle

😍🤩 if you want more on louis and his music you should check out 'breaking down walls' its a series of videos https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqGX5DYz-3clfMa48GCyuTRa45xl7-Xe0

cecil

This just makes my heart full. I have a very soft spot for people who are gentle and sweet to older people. Grandparents are the best ❤

Victória Carvalho

Esther Espino

Incredible video, Louis is a person like just a few, is humble, is real and honest, I can't ask for more from an artist that I follow. Please watch Louis's Livestream concert again but now with all of us!, I know you already watched but it would be great to be able to relive the experience all together!!
