For those who are interested in monarchy, watch the 2018 BBC special “Coronation”. It’s a special documentary on the history of coronations in the United Kingdom and features an exclusive interview with Queen Elizabeth the Second. When discussing Saint Edward’s crown, she mentioned its weight (eight pounds) and referred to it as a “neck breaker”. She also mentioned that it, unlike the Imperial State Crown, doesn’t have any remarkable features on the front that can help one identify which side of the crown is the front. The Imperial State Crown has the Black Prince’s Ruby on the front.
