Microphone Ickery & Steering Committee
Added 2017-09-02 18:59:24 +0000 UTCSince my move, I don't have access to my former room mate's microphone, and when I tried to make another video for the $12+ tiers (you guys), the sound was so terrible in my new studio, that I couldn't share it.
So, I went ahead and ordered one for myself from Amazon. When it arrives, I'll start making vids again.
Here's the gist of what I covered in the vid:
Due to my move, I'm only going to to have five new completed pages in The Awakening, instead of six, like normal. The comic will be completed in September and I'll probably move straight into working on the Cottonwine story I have in mind, and have already started. This comic will be more long-form and as a result, I'm going to leave it black and white, with the goal to do far more pages per month than six (but still packed with as much drippy detail as possible). The coloring really does take a lot of time. Especially raccoons and pandas. I'll be going back to color for other features, though. It won't be a permanent move. I just want to see how quickly I get good pages out like this.
I'm also open to hearing from you about any other services the steering committee tier would love. Patreon has a livestream feature which is in beta right now, and I'm thinking of giving it a shot. I don't draw digitally, very often, but we'll see.

maybe do something like a how to draw video or picture set (like the adult comic tutorial). where u show people how you draw your characters or just a furry/human character in general. from the skeleton to the finished look.

2017-09-02 19:50:40 +0000 UTCRight now I can't think of any additional services for the 12$ patrons. I really like what we get and the work vids are always fun to watch and very interesting. The black and white idea for the next comic sounds really good and we'll see how much they'll "speed up" your monthly comic pages. There is one idea I had a while ago but never asked about: Maybe some kind of "stand alone pictures" exclusively for the higher tiers. You could give us a few characters and "kinks" to vote from for a black and white or even colored page once in a while. But this really is just an idea and I am totally satisfied with what we're getting right now. :-) Have a nice evening, Jay!
