First commissioned in 2068 and taking a total of two years to be built, the City Class cruisers were the fore front of human technology at that time. It was designed to be an science vessel, explorer and at the same time having enough firepower to both attack or defend itself.
A total of 4 ships were commissioned, UNS Singapore, UNS Sydney, UNS Santiago and UNS Seoul. UNS Santiago was decommissioned after 40 years in the service while UNS Singapore and UNS Seoul were mothballed and turned into museum ships after the end of their service life.
The UNS Sydney went missing 2 years after its commission on an exploration mission, its crew and its fate still remained unknown and undiscovered till this day.
