After a long break, I was finally able to continue polishing the classic version of TLB. This is mostly a bug fix and system update, but the amount of effort and coffee spent on it doesn't allow me to call it 0.9.38.1.
Save to slots
I spent countless hours checking every event in the main quests and story events, migrating outdated keys, and eliminating most softlock bugs. Honestly, this was the toughest bug-fix release for me.
I dedicated many hours to testing the main storylines (a fast playthrough of a single route takes at least 1.5 hours), but I didn't thoroughly test side events since I wanted to stay within this month's timeframe.
If you encounter any bugs or errors, please submit a bug report—I might have missed something.
How to Transfer Your Save?
Let's say you have a save in Slot 1 that you want to transfer to Slot 2.
In the game menu, start a new game in Slot 2.
Once the dungeon loads, exit the game.
Copy the save files from Slot 1 to Slot 2.
Your saves are stored in the folder:
📂 C:\Users\YOUR_PC_NAME\AppData\LocalLow\Viktor Black\The Last Barbarian
Inside, you'll find five folders: Slot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
4. Paste the copied files into Slot 2.
5. Launch the game and continue playing from Slot 2.

What's Next for the Classic Version?
The classic version will receive final polishing to ensure it's playable without game-breaking bugs.
A final dialogue check is planned for localization, as originally intended.
The classic version will be available on Steam.
Future Updates
All new content and feature updates will be focused on Rebirth, which is now the main project.
The classic version will not receive new content but will be refined to provide a stable experience.
Why Were There No Updates of Classic TLB for So Long?
It's simple—the classic version was stored on my tower PC. Due to power outages, I couldn't work on the project.
Transferring it to my laptop wasn't possible for several reasons.
Implementing the save system required refactoring the entire project, which took a huge amount of time.
Since I was focused on maintaining the development pace of Rebirth, the classic version was put on hold.
