ANNOUNCEMENT // PATRON COMM CUTOFFS
Added 2024-02-23 22:06:41 +0000 UTCHey lads, wanted to drop a post in advance of the coming month, now that commissions have been wrapped up for this month.
For a long time now (since day one, really), the deadline to send in your Patron commission information has been 8PM EST on the 20th of the given month --- at first, that worked quite fine, and allowed me plenty of time to work through everything.
However, with the addition of a third render at the end of each month as well as my current work schedule, those last-minute submissions from the 18th-20th often throw off my plans just enough to leave me scrambling towards the end of the month. It can especially be tough on months where a large portion of my patrons do not provide details until those last few days, leaving me with half a dozen or more commissions to squeeze into that 10-day stretch.
I've considered it off and on, and I think the safest solution here is to simply adjust the cutoff.
As a result, going forward, the Patron Commission details cuttoff will be 8PM on the 15th. I believe that is more than fair as it allows Comm Patrons half of the average month span to put forth their details, and ensures that there'll be plenty of time for me to allocate to all Patreon rewards and obligations without need to rush.
I'll be sending this out to all active commission patrons individually to be certain it's seen, but I also wished to make an official post about it to document and archive the incoming change to the Terms of Service document.
