After a July pause.......an August pause (for Ferragosto)

I hope you’ve been enjoying your summer. I’ve been bouncing around from the Bay Area to Europe, eating my way towards 250. I wanted to give you an update on my posting plans. I’ve enjoyed taking July off from posting, and have decided to do the same for August to round out the summer months. I will post a few things, and the occasional lens post, but in general I won’t be posting new content for next month. Payment will be suspended for next month, so feel free to stay subscribed if you’d like to keep access to my archive of posts. Starting in August I will also be simplifying the Patreon tiers: as opposed to the four tiers I currently have, I will be minimizing it to one: a $10 tier with access to videos and some monthly pics. With the tiers I have now (and had in the past) I would sometimes divide videos into parts spread across weeks, but I will now instead post ~8 minutes of video per month, keeping videos intact. I will no longer be posting the shorter clips I’ve been posting (From the Archive) due to video hosting and storage complications, so I will be moving those and other pics to tumblr post + (at a much lower price, just 1.99/month—the tumblr page is pettyheft). With this new structure, you will see fewer overall posts on patreon, but I’m hoping that you’ll like the videos being kept together and the simplified tier structure.
