2026-01-15 04:53:36 +0000 UTCCrazy theory incoming: To me, Manousos symbolizes Jesus Christ. Manousos travels alone in the jungle just like Jesus did in the desert. The hive kept trying to tempt Manousos like the temptation of Christ where the devil tried tempting Jesus in the wilderness. Manousos getting stabbed by the spiky tree mirrors Jesus being crucified. There are 13 known survivors (Jesus and the 12 apostles). In the coming seasons, I believe one of the other survivors (Judas) will betray Manousos.

2026-01-12 21:47:23 +0000 UTCA couple interesting points for me: *The change of the young Peruvian woman was sad and disturbing. The hive doesn't really understand human happiness. Her culture and petting the goat was comforting to her and after the change it means nothing to her. *Carol being extra paranoid with Manusos around than she ever was with the hive? *Carol not complaining on her honeymoon with Zosia unlike she used to with Helen. Very selfish way to come back and join Manusos but oh well we have Carol back. Excited for the next season.

2026-01-12 19:39:25 +0000 UTCI don’t think Manousos wanted to kill the others; otherwise, he wouldn’t have left money for all the people who owned the things he used. He seems to know or at least assume, that everyone is still there and will come back in the future. Early on in the season, others in the subreddit and I had the idea that Manousos knows the people are still there because he was “joined” as well. If you remember, Zosia first tells Carol about 11 others, but after the first time Carol causes them to “twitch,” there are suddenly 12 ... and that’s the first time Manousos is mentioned. Maybe he was “unjoined” when Carol screamed at them, which could explain why he was screaming at them here too. Of course, it’s also possible that he was extremely lonely and had no contact with anyone at all. But there were so many breadcrumbs planted earlier whose true meaning only became clear later (the milk cartons, the mention of a giant antenna the size of Africa that you’d need to send out a signal yourself right in the first episode , Carols eggs), that I’ve convinced myself that the lack of any information about what happened to Manousos must mean … something. I don’t know, maybe I should get a tinfoil hat 😂 Anyway, this was a great start to a fantastic series. I loved it. It’s a bummer that we now have to wait the usual 2–3 years for the next season. 2026-01-12 19:01:17 +0000 UTCYou mentioned Rick's hand twitching as a sign there was something happening...the biggest thing in that scene was that the sound on the radio frequency changed while the Hive was freaking out (it went from a kind of repetitive EDM beat to something more static lol). So the radio frequency definitely has to have something to do with how they're all staying connected.
