It just occurred to me that you've gone from the July winner's film that likely has the longest title you've ever reacted to on the channel (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford) to the August winner's film that might have the shortest title you've ever reacted to on the channel (If...).

2024-08-28 00:38:50 +0000 UTCYES!!!! I've always wondered if you'd watch "The Assassination of Jesse..." It's an absolute masterpiece, acting, cinematography, script. Casey Affleck should have won the Oscar he was nominated for. To be honest, everyone is amazing. It's a slow burn that gets under your skin over time, at least it was for me. Im my top 5 of all time. I can't wait to watch along with you two lovely people. Descendants of Jesse spoke out that the film was the most accurate portrayal of him ever put to screen. Brad Pitt once said it was the film he most liked being a part of.

2024-08-27 19:07:07 +0000 UTCOh yeah, Speed is basically a remake of the original Bullet Train. I kinda feel the same way about a lot of 21st century action films, but I had a good one-time-only watch with this Bullet Train. Sometimes bright and shiny fluff hits the spot.
