Why do you have to hurt me with the Slayers reminder? I was so stoked. I could have even managed to accept the mascot. But they recycled season one's villains but worse this time, and I was so miffed. At least the art is crisp?

Watching this video, I realize my issue with Sasshomaru and Rin's relationship is what sadly ruined what would've been a 10/10 score for the second season of Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū. That final episode's reveal about made me flip a table in disgust, lol. That twist turns that anime into a 5, that's how much I dislike it. But also with Yashahime, they had way too many plotlines and then the aging makes zero sense. Moroha might only be a quarter demon, but I would still assume Kagome at least should be way older than she is now. And Kaede should be dead, lol. They also poorly introduced characters, just giving them title cards each and every episode. Guess what? I remember none of them. Why? Because actually having the characters use their name is way more memorable than just putting their name above them. And then, the biggest hurt...we lost Kirby Morrow, Miroku's English actor. I...stopped watching for awhile after that. And when I did continue, it was only with subs, because the dubs were one, so far behind (I mean, scrambling to get a new actor isn't easy) and two, I didn't want to be hurt by knowing I was hearing a man's final role, especially as Morrow did unfortunately sound quite rough with his voice acting this time (and now we know why...). It's just sad. Side note, I really dislike that on a phone, at least, I can't put paragraphs on Patreon because now, this is just a rambling wall of text, lol. I do apologize, this rant perhaps would've been best saved for YouTube.
