2024 and beyond...

This is gonna be a long post. If you don't feel like reading a wall of text, here's the TLDR:

• I am focusing more on animation instead of games.
• Starting next month, the $1 tier will be removed. If you are an existing Patron in this tier, nothing changes for you.

If you had been with me for a while, you would probably (or probably not!) remember me as the guy who makes games. But as you can see (from the lack of Patreon posts), I haven't posted much in a long time. Due to the volume of IRL work, I was seriously burnt out and making games was not as fun as it once was...

The surprising thing was, despite my lack of activity, there were still some people who supported me on Patreon even though I posted nothing! These folks really wanted me to keep going... And I'm thankful, truly. Thank you for believing in me.

To be honest, in the past few months, I've been contemplating shutting down my Patreon because it doesn't feel right to fleece my Patrons while I'm not delivering any rewards. But after discussing with some Patrons, I finally decided to give one final shot into this.

What this means is that there will be more animations (and illustrations) and less gamedev stuff. It does not mean that I would completely stop making games though! But if you were here because you wanted to see more games, then I apologize.

Another important thing that I've been itching to change is the tier system. Starting next month, January 1st 2024, I will be removing the $1 tier and only keep the $5 and $8 tier.

If you are a patron in the $1 tier, nothing changes for you. You will still be in the $1 tier - it's just no longer available for new people.

Naturally, my whole Patreon page is being reworked to reflect all these changes.

With all that out of the way, let me remind you that there's only a few days left until the new year! I hope next year will be a great year for all of you! :)
