2022-05-09 19:09:25 +0000 UTCYes I definitely think they should watch Bloodsport it's a great film, preferably sooner rather than later so that they get a future Cobra Kai Bloodsport reference. It doesn't spoil anything it's just so that they get the reference when it comes :) It's always cool to see callbacks to other movies in stuff :) One of the things that made Stranger Things so cool.

I really liked the game, years ago. Not sure when I stopped but so far I recognize most of these characters. I'm hoping that Jinx makes an appearance in the show. She'd totally fit in the world as it's been shown - so far at least.

2022-05-08 10:48:38 +0000 UTCSo I have never played LoL or know anything about it whatsoever, other than it's insanely popular. Never tried it coz I never could get into MOBA games. But I think the little blue balls are some kind of energy source that powers some of the dude's other inventions, coz there were a lot of things with blue crystals. This seems a very steam-punky / Final Fantasy type thing where their technology is radically different from our own, in fact I got strong FF7 vibes from the beginning. If anyone knows FF7 starts out with a group of rebels trying to steal/sabotage something above ground where they live underground. And of course.. Airships. ;) Also think the creators could be fans of Rocky and Bloodsport due to a couple things in the fight scene :)

I had seen Riot & Studio Fortiche's K/DA "Pop/Stars" video and was very impressed by the animation, the direction and the music itself. I commented that the studio ought to make an animated series, though I didn't expect there would be much of a story you could get out of a MOBA game, to which I was told that they ARE making a series, and that there was TONS of worldbuilding behind the settings and characters that doesn't really impact the game itself. So I did start playing League of Legends about two months before "Arcane" came out. All I want to say about that is... knowing which characters in Arcane are and aren't champions in the game does entail some spoilers, since this information does tip you off to what may or may not happen to them in the future.
