Office Space (1999) First Time Watching! Full Movie Reaction!!

Office Space (1999) First Time Watching! Full Movie Reaction!!

Comments

Sam is so great in this.

Korny

Years ago in an engineering office we had a group meeting with a consultant about re-engineering. They made a point of saying itโ€™s NOT DOWNSIZING but a radical new way of doing business processes. We had to interview with the consultant to explain what we do. Then slowly the group meetings had fewer and fewer people.

Mark Harrell

I was finally able to watch the reaction. I love this movie, I worked at a office for about 6 months when I first saw it and I identified with a lot of it, I think anyone who has worked in a office wants to destroy a printer with a baseball bat.

Douglas Holmes

Oh I definitely got my money refunded. I just thought it was some kind of glitch. coz paid content shouldn't have ads. I tried watching a show with IMDB once the ads just like killed it or me. It's worse than ads on broadcast TV. But I rented it on Apple TV. It was $2 cheaper too! :)

Alex

I watched mine on DVD, but if your paid to rent it, then it obviously shouldn't have ads. If you call Amazon back and talk with someone who speaks English I'm sure they'll refund your money.

TBR's right, the soundtrack for this movie is fire. I loved it so much I actually bought it on CD back in the day. I'm sure someone will mention this in the YT comments, but Swingline didn't actually make red staplers till after this movie became a cult classic.

Nicotti

Yeah, mine had three ad breaks, which was confusing since the button said "Watch Ad-Free".

Nicotti

I didn't remember anything about this movie except Milton with the stapler and setting the building on fire. "But, my stapler.. You took my stapler." LOL Almost everything that happened before he got hypnosis is exactly what happens to me even now even though I work from home. but instead of TPS reports it this guy telling me "You know if you can put in the estimated hours for your tasks in Azure and then the hours you spent that would be great." and then like when the meeting's about to be over he will say "Oh Alex, also please don't forget that if you could [repeats the entire thing]" after I told him I would do it right away the first time. lol Also I feel so much better than I'm not the only one who's done that shaking the steering wheel thing LOL

Alex

My favorite part of the whole movie is when Peter asks Lawrence if he wants to come over, and you hear Lawrence say "No, man. I don't want you to fuck up my life too."

Did anyone have any issues with ads on Amazon Prime when paying to rent this movie? Mine had ads and the woman I spoke with in chat said that it's hosted by IMDB and IMDB videos have ads. I told her I rented the video and also the reaction doesn't have ads. She just kept telling me it's hosted by IMDB and they have ads.

Alex

I always loved this movie, but since being laid off 18 months ago I feel like I am living it. I just don't miss work, and have no intention to get back into the work force any time soon. Though I do know sooner or later I will need to, I do not miss it. :)

What a classic movie! I loved the Lumbergh-drinking-coffee-sex scene lol

Along Came Polly is a fun movie,Philip Seymour Hoffman is hilarious in that

Andrew

Mike Judge is also the creator of Beavis & Butthead. Not sure if that was mentioned.

Mike Tocci

Another 2 Good Movies with Jennifer Aniston are "Good Girl" from 2002 with Jake Gyllenhall as Co Star and "Along Came Polly" from 2004 with Ben Stiller

Florian Meier

Wow this made a garbage night a lot better.

Jeffrey Miller

I'm thinking Sam is way under the required 15 pieces of flair. Fun movie and reaction.

softshoes

If you look closely, you might notice that Joanna's boss at Chotchkie's is Mike Judge (director of the movie).

Scott Kerr

If you enjoyed Office Space, you should check out another workplace comedy of the same spirit, 2005's "Waiting."

David Crabtree

Another Mike Judge movie (written and directed) y'all might like: "Idiocracy" (2006). Also, I don't think y'all mentioned it, so: Mike Judge played the manager at the restaurant that was talking about wearing more flair.

Thomas Yanez

Love the bloopers, y'all.

Thomas Yanez

Another great, similar movie is "Waiting", with Justin Long. I love Office Space.

Jon

LOL that would be so satisfying! -Sam

TBR Schmitt
