Neal Romanek
2021-11-22 21:40:25 +0000 UTCOh, well yeah. If we're talking Billy Wilder then this gets taken to a whole new level. The Apartment, Sunset Blvd, Double Indemnity, Sabrina - some of the best films ever made.
Neal Romanek
2021-11-22 21:37:46 +0000 UTCA fellow Hudsucker fan. (high fives)
Neal Romanek
2021-11-22 21:36:40 +0000 UTCGreat choice. And I would add the utterly amazing Shaolin Soccer.
Neal Romanek
2021-11-22 21:35:32 +0000 UTCA road trip comedy I enjoyed but is a bit hard to track down for me is Coupe de Ville.

Smooticus
2021-11-22 14:05:09 +0000 UTCFor me it's Blood Simple and The Hudsucker Proxy.
Tyler Foster
2021-11-21 23:53:31 +0000 UTCI also love The Guard, which is by the brother of the writer/director of In Bruges, and also co-stars Brendan Gleeson.
Tyler Foster
2021-11-21 23:53:06 +0000 UTCSuggesting Burn After Reading (2008)
PIG
2021-11-21 23:17:41 +0000 UTCFuture considerations?: The Jerk As Good as It Gets Anger Management And with that, I am gonna go watch along with the full version of Demolition Man, and it is Sunday, so goosefrabaaah! 😉✌️
2021-11-21 21:30:29 +0000 UTCOne of the greatest all time comedies is Some Like it Hot. Wish more reactors would watch it.
Catherine LW
2021-11-21 21:20:54 +0000 UTCIs that a hair gel? LOL sorry, I just had to say it.
Scott Kerr
2021-11-21 19:38:58 +0000 UTCDo "Dazed and Confused", "Everybody Wants Some", and "School of Rock" qualify as comedies? I hope so.
Scott Kerr
2021-11-21 19:37:02 +0000 UTCOn this list, Holy Grail is probably my favorite, but so many other channels have covered it, I want to give something else a vote. As a kid I LOVED Three Amigos, but I haven’t seen it since, so does it hold up?? 🤷🏻♀️ Going with Raising Arizona, (especially since Big Lebowski is already on the docket, I kind of wanna get them through the Coen’s films. Need to get to Miller’s Crossing & Barton Fink.)
Damiana_Dimock
2021-11-21 19:17:08 +0000 UTCBetter Off Dead is such a great recommendation. Absolutely love that movie!
Jeff
2021-11-21 19:02:06 +0000 UTCLumbergh chooses Office Space.
Scott Kerr
2021-11-21 18:01:43 +0000 UTCGreat comedies.
Neal Romanek
2021-11-21 17:14:48 +0000 UTCSuch a crazy, intense, funny movie - very Guy Ritchie.
Neal Romanek
2021-11-21 17:12:58 +0000 UTCPlease consider In Bruges (2008) for future polls. It's not strictly a comedy - it's got action and dramatic elements too - but, nevertheless, it's probably the funniest movie I've ever seen :)
Uncle 'Traveling' Matt
2021-11-21 17:10:24 +0000 UTCSo many good movies here. My heart says to go with The Three Amigos, but I really want you guys to enjoy Raising Arizona.
Neal Romanek
2021-11-21 17:02:33 +0000 UTCDuck Soup is the greatest (although A Night At The Opera may be the best Marx Brothers introduction).
Neal Romanek
2021-11-21 17:01:39 +0000 UTCAn absolute classic - and directed by Carl Reiner, son of Rob Reiner.
Neal Romanek
2021-11-21 16:59:16 +0000 UTCWithnail & I is definitely one of the best written and best acted comedies ever
Neal Romanek
2021-11-21 16:58:17 +0000 UTC"Raising Arizona" fans: the Ryan Carrington channel just filmed his version today, it should be up in a few days, go check him out, he's a great reactor! (Not TBR and Sam, of course!)
Tic Toc Melody
2021-11-21 05:24:45 +0000 UTCI have no problem with tropic thunder but comparing blacking up to putting on an accent for a movie is just fucking dumb 😂
Raindog
2021-11-20 20:09:15 +0000 UTCCan you add Withnail and I (1987) to your list/poll. One of the best British comedies of the 80’s.
Lee
2021-11-20 15:15:23 +0000 UTCOf the choices given, "Stripes". But there's so many others (i.e. "Better Off Dead" (1985), "The 'Burbs'" (1989), "Night Shift" (1982), etc.
Miles E Coburn
2021-11-20 13:38:47 +0000 UTCIf not Stripes, then Duck Soup, the greatest comedy ever made.
Mike LL
2021-11-20 12:57:08 +0000 UTCPlease do Stripes
Stefan Daniw
2021-11-20 11:33:30 +0000 UTCJeez. All these great movies and the mediocre Tropic Thunder is going to win. Bummer.
Tyler Foster
2021-11-20 10:47:31 +0000 UTCI like to watch Interview from Seth Rogen. Best Monty Python movie is Life of Brian.. I highly recommend
David Hron
2021-11-20 08:37:03 +0000 UTCTropic Thunder is still funny and great. I also love Hot Shots, Loaded Weapon 1 (an amazing but probably forgotten parody), Planes, Trains & Automobiles…
David Hron
2021-11-20 08:31:53 +0000 UTCThe Grand Budapest Hotel. Lots of stars and quite funny, although I'd say a very different kind of comedy from the likes of Tropic Thunder.
Forrest
2021-11-20 07:16:41 +0000 UTCThe is a toughy... Tropic Thunder is probably the most hilarious. In the same vein as Balls of Fury & Dodgeball, which I watch more than Tropic Thunder.
Christian Rennie
2021-11-20 07:00:53 +0000 UTCFletch The Jerk Caddyshack
Nick Parker
2021-11-20 06:21:03 +0000 UTCThe Jerk is a CLASSIC!!! Also, Fletch and Caddyshack
Nick Parker
2021-11-20 06:20:17 +0000 UTCComing in hot! I'm not going to trade grouchy comments, I'm not particularly that prickly about stuff. If you want to have a conversation about it, I'm down for that.
Mark
2021-11-20 05:39:53 +0000 UTCPlease tell that's not some woke nonsense. It's hilarious....well to anyone with a working sense of humour. I guess the SJW snowflakes will find anything to complain about. Let me guess, it's a blackface thing? No one worries about Aussie face, a Yank playing an Aussie. Politically 'incorrect' humour is always the funniest.
Aaron Barlow
2021-11-20 05:35:07 +0000 UTCTropic Thunder FTW!! It's hilarious, definitely should win.
Aaron Barlow
2021-11-20 05:31:31 +0000 UTCThey watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles last thanksgiving, the full reaction is already on this patreon page
Andrew
2021-11-20 05:26:08 +0000 UTCOMG, the Holy Grail is on the list, easily one of the old timey comedies ever.
Samuel Bruce
2021-11-20 05:09:43 +0000 UTCoh man, please remove Tropic Thunder from the list - besides not being particularly funny, it really hasn't aged well.
Mark
2021-11-20 05:07:58 +0000 UTCSome future comedy/drama recommendations: Clerks Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas High Fidelity The Night Before Scott Pilgrim vs the world Chasing Amy Requiem for a dream Romeo + Juliet Walk the line Wild at heart
Nick of Time
2021-11-20 05:07:49 +0000 UTCThis one's tough. I went with Raising Arizona since it looks like both of you haven't seen it A Cohen Brothers mini fest might be in store for you guys
Smooticus
2021-11-20 04:39:58 +0000 UTCRaising Arizona is my jam. I swear that Crash Bandicoot got his running style from H.I. McDunnough when he's running with Huggies under his arm.
TheRealDooode
2021-11-20 04:38:49 +0000 UTCThe Jerk starring Steve Martin is another real funny movie!
Jeff
2021-11-20 04:35:54 +0000 UTCYes!!! "Raising Arizona"!!!!!! All funny stuff, and since you already saw "Holy Grail", that's not a contender. If "Life Of Brian" was on the list, that would be a much tougher choice though! But for you guys, in particular, I've been DYING to see you do "Raising Arizona"! I hope it wins!
Tic Toc Melody
2021-11-20 04:35:43 +0000 UTCThere’s Something About Mary and When Harry Met Sally- have you guys seen both or either of these? If not they’re both great and would love to add them to future comedy polls
Jeff
2021-11-20 04:35:03 +0000 UTCOh - my - God. I was joking about the difficulty in picking only one in the last poll, but this is truly torturous. Oddly, the three choices I would vote for are the same three Daniel has already seen. I’m tentatively voting for Tropic Thunder, because I rewatched it a while back and had forgotten how f*cking hilarious it was.
Nick of Time
2021-11-20 04:32:10 +0000 UTCVoted Raising Arizona. Have you seen Planes, Trains and Automobiles yet? Great Thanksgiving Comedy with John Candy and Steve Martin. Also, for comedies Uncle Buck with John Candy and Little Shop of Horrors Theatrical (1986) with Rick Moranis.
bosho11
2021-11-20 04:31:56 +0000 UTCOMG, Raising Arizona! 😂 love it.
