I'd also like to recommend: * And Justice for All (1979); starring Al Pacino * Paths of Glory (1957); Stanley Kubrick/Kirk Douglas; part war film/part legal drama * To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) * Bridge of Spies (2015); part legal drama/part spy thriller; Hanks/Spielberg

2021-11-21 16:06:27 +0000 UTCI'm glad you guys enjoyed it, but I gotta say: if you want to see potentially the best courtroom film ever made - one that it is actually tradition for actual law students to watch in law school - you've got to see My Cousin Vinny. It's an awesome comedy, and - apparently according to lawyers - the absolute best movie portrayal of what it's actually like in a courtroom. (Plus it's pretty hilarious. It's one of my all time favorites.)

Like someone else commented, this so one of those movies that I would always watch whenever I came across it on TV, regardless of where it was in the story. Stellar movie with a stellar cast. Now y’all need to watch The Firm and My Cousin Vinny!

Also, Pollak does amazing Nicholson impersonations too, probably the best of anyone I'd seen
