Thanks for the link! That was a great interview! Kevin Pollak should be in more movies and TV... he's a great actor!

If you're interested in more courtroom/legal dramas, I'd like to second the recommendations of The Verdict (1982) with Paul Newman and 12 Angry Men (1957). I'd also like to recommend: * And Justice for All (1979); starring Al Pacino * Paths of Glory (1957); Stanley Kubrick/Kirk Douglas; part war film/part legal drama * To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) * Bridge of Spies (2015); part legal drama/part spy thriller; Hanks/Spielberg

I suppose I could recommend The Client (1994) with Tommy Lee Jones as somewhat of a courtroom movie.

Scott Kerr

And director/star of many brilliant comedies, including Waiting for Guffman and Best In Show

Neal Romanek

Yep, it doesn't get better than Chinatown.

Neal Romanek

He was one of the great directors of the 80's - son of comedy genius Carl Reiner.

Neal Romanek

A really good movie. Other courtroom must-sees are The Verdict and 12 Angry Men.

Neal Romanek

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it, but I gotta say: if you want to see potentially the best courtroom film ever made - one that it is actually tradition for actual law students to watch in law school - you've got to see My Cousin Vinny. It's an awesome comedy, and - apparently according to lawyers - the absolute best movie portrayal of what it's actually like in a courtroom. (Plus it's pretty hilarious. It's one of my all time favorites.)

Everything Col. Jessup(Jack Nicholson) said in his glorious speech at the end was correct.

David Crabtree

The doctor in A Few Good Men is played by Christopher Guest, a British lord married to Jamie Lee Curtis, He was also Count Rugen in A Princess Bride.

PaulChristopher

They would LOVE My Cousin Vinny.

Armchair Wizard

The jury was all military because it was a military court martial, not a civilian trial. This was a great reaction, as per usual for the pair of you. Like someone else commented, this so one of those movies that I would always watch whenever I came across it on TV, regardless of where it was in the story. Stellar movie with a stellar cast. Now y’all need to watch The Firm and My Cousin Vinny!

Aimee

Bless You

Mike Adams

Oh snap, solid movie. Getting the popcorn now

Joe Mags

Didn't Unforgiven beat out Last of the Mohicans too??

Scott Kerr

Speaking of, they should definitely watch Unforgiven.

Dor

Thank you both!!! 🙏

If you love mystery movies, check out Chinatown with Jack Nicholson. The greatest mystery ever and arguably the greatest screenplay in cinema history. There's a lot more to figure out in that one.

Also cannot wait for them to watch Tom Cruise in THE FIRM with Gene Hackman

Jason Dolan

This was a good year for supporting performances. Only Gene Hackman in UNFORGIVEN could have beaten him at the Oscars that year.

Jason Dolan

Also, the fact that this is the same director who made THE PRINCESS BRIDE, MISERY, WHEN HARRY MET SALLY, STAND BY ME and THIS IS SPINAL TAP is an impressive feat.

Jason Dolan

Jack Nicholson's performance in this movie is nothing short of outstanding!

Scott Kerr

https://reelgood.com/movie/a-few-good-men-1992 I always use REELGOOD - it let's you know all your options

Jason Dolan

This is the movie that introduced me to AARON SORKIN

Jason Dolan

Can’t find this to rent/stream anywhere.

Before it gets lost in the flood of comments to come can we just admit it’s overly time for a T-shirt with Sam saying “hello” on it?

One of my favorite films of all time! So excited to see your reaction and so happy you reacted to it in the first place!

Philthemovieguy

I am so excited for you to see this movie. it's one of my favorites. It's one of the movies that if I'm switching channels and find it on, I watch it the rest of it. No matter where in the movie I start,

Check out Rich Eisen interview clip with Kevin Pollak related to this movie here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DLt8WNYN2I Makes it easier to understand why A-list actors like Jack get paid what they're paid. Also, Pollak does amazing Nicholson impersonations too, probably the best of anyone I'd seen
