Arachnophobia (1990) First Time Watching! Full Movie Reaction!!

Arachnophobia (1990) First Time Watching! Full Movie Reaction!!

Comments

Arachnophobia is an awesome movie. But y'all should watch Kingdom of the Spiders (1977) starring William Shatner (Star Trek). It got me into studying tarantulas as a kid. My uncle even game me one as a pet (zebra tarantula which are VERY difficult to handle).

Lee N.

Ohh, Rue, is the book still available anywhere? I love reading stuff like this.

Raven Dark

Is funny, even though I have a mild case of arachnophobia (A knack for phobias), I really love the Spider-man movies and TV shows. The irony.

Guston Zimasheen

Arachnophob here and I gotta say this is still one of my favorite movies of all time just because it still causes me to get chills regularly throughout the movie. I was right there with you the whole time being nervous and cringing lol.

Neil Todd

I had to just watch the Youtube video because I refuse to own this movie. I saw it as a kid after being bitten by a spider regrettably at 6. TBR you feel the same way as I do about spiders. I know they're necessary and I try not to kill them if I'm outside, inside the same unless I know they're poisonous. I absolutely hate how they look, move, everything about them. So no judgements good sir. I would have burned the whole town down after it showed there was more than a few.

vicious tyler

One of my favorite reactions from you guys. A great light-hearted horror.

PIG

Yeah, I absolutely loved it. It's the most fun I've had with one of your reactions! I have a huge spider phobia too. Really, really bad. So I watch Arachnophobia once every few years to torture myself. At least this time I wasn't suffering alone. But now I'll feel something crawling on me every 2 minutes for the week...

The spider in the popcorn

Ian

What about the Popcorn scene?

Mark M

Really enjoyed the reaction guy's I think Sam enjoyed it a little too much ( evil grin) glad I didn't save the popcorn for this one 😱 that bathroom scene is a no from me 😂

Mark

Just started watching the intro already has me scared for you both lol I'm already feeling things on my arms and legs oh god, 😭 that reminds me few weeks ago I woke up In the middle of the night and felt something on my arm I pinched my fingers on what I thought was a fly I felt a pop , jumped up shouting wtf was that turned the light on and yep it was a big black spider 😱 needless to say I didn't sleep the rest of the night, OK bk to the movie 🙂

Ian

As someone who has a very healthy fear of spiders, and also lives somewhere that has tons of Black Widows, this movie literally traumatizes me.. Every single person involved with the production of this movie was drastically underpaid. I don't even know how they managed to get the actors and actresses to sign on for this movie, much less kept them from walking off the set when they learned what the director wanted them to do in their scenes.

Eric Denney

Yep they used Kiwi spiders for the soldier spiders.

Aaron Barlow

AWESOME reaction. This movie is an absolute gem and completely underrated. You two had me laughing so hard I was going into coughing fits. I love John Goodman in this movie, even though he doesn't have a lot of screen-time, he kills it. The 'drones' in the movie are Huntsman (Avondale) spiders and are native to the Australia / New Zealand region.

Murf

Really enjoyed this reaction,it is a solid, entertaining and popular 90's movie,I am glad you watched it and I am happy that you didn't let a selection of people, who were questioning why you were watching it,sway you out of it for their own selfish reasons

Andrew

It looks like it’s on Amazon Prime! Not sure if we rented it or it is included though

TBR Schmitt

Anyone know where to stream? Can’t find it on Netflix. Might have to rent from YouTube.

Mark M

OMG, this was so much fun. This may not have been a comedy, but there were plenty of laughs. Mostly from TBR's reactions. Heehee! As soon as I was finished this, I was going to jokingly recommend Jaws, especially knowing how TBR feels about underwater stuff. Imagine my joy when I saw that you already have reacted to it! *rubs hands together* Off to watch...

Raven Dark

Decent film. Solid reaction. However, what I really loved was seeing how much joy Sam got from TBR's terror :) edit: Watching Sam trying to figure out TBR's spider conspiracy theories was equally enjoyable ;)

Uncle 'Traveling' Matt

I shouldn't get this much enjoyment out of watching you guys squirm. Lol. Thanks for braving it for us, you two!

TheRealDooode

So I just did the watch along with y’all and I have to say this was probably my favorite watch along with you two. I am just like you TBR when it comes to spiders and they still scare me to this day. Y’all’s reactions had me laughing but at the same time equally terrified and I’ve seen this movie many times. I will definitely be rewatching this with y’all in the future again. Great choice guys.

Yeah I actually got a pretty bad spider bite on my foot while visiting LA last month

Jason Dolan

Haha!

TBR Schmitt

Haha I completely understand! Well I hope you enjoy the squirming and screaming anyways! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

When I got the notification for this on my phone I think I was as happy as Shatner going to space.

This is one movie I'm seriously never watching (I have legit arachnophobia) - I remember reading the novelization of this movie and it was MORE than enough for me lol I'll still listen along though haha

Rue

I would imagine this scarring a 10 year old! TBR Schmitt has Arachnophobia so this was not a fun time for him, but I think made for a great reaction! (smirk emoji) -Sam

TBR Schmitt

(vomit emoji)(coffin emoji). My dad let me watch this when I was like 10 and since then I full on have arachnophobia. Just reading the title for the movie has my skin crawling!
