Honestly, I like some of the other ones (or even just specific moments), but unless you're loving them and/or you're getting a ton of views and likes, it's hard to justify reacting to all of them beyond just part 3 and New Nightmare.

I avoided lucid dreaming for years because of that first experience. Then a few years ago it spontaneously started happening again but I learned to control certain things but kind of go with the flow, now they're always super fun. It's like dreaming in HD, I can focus on details and they hold, then I can change my surroundings, fly, all kinds of stuff.
I've heard about 55% of people have had a lucid dream at some point, and some people can do it whenever they want, I'm not quite that good at it, but I have fun with them now.

Thanks, Jimmie! We're excited (and scared) to keep going! Do you think only 3 and New Nightmare are worth the reaction?

The first time I lucid dreamed I woke up into sleep paralysis. I actually fell asleep reading a book about lucid dreaming (Carlos Castañeda) and went into a dream I could control, but not well... It turned on me into a vivid nightmare and then I was struggling to wake myself up, when I finally did I was paralyzed for a few minutes while my body slowly woke up.

Lin Shaye is also the sister of Bob Shaye, who is the head of New Line Pictures, the company responsible for A Nightmare On Elm Street.

We'll need to check those two out! Maybe not for the channel, but after this october we're going to need a little break from horror haha

Indeed. Although I would suggest watching the Kill Count version of #2... which holds the record for being the earliest, blatantly homo-erotic horror movie! :)

Finally!!! As a guy who LOVES this series and grew up on it, I HIGHLY suggest you just watch part 3 and then skip to wes craven's New Nightmare. DO NOT read a thing about the last film (the entire concept will truly surprise you if you avoid spoilers) and whatever you do... DON'T. FALL. ASLEEP.

I can confidently state that every actor in every film that you watch this month, will all have a pair of shoulders,so Sam is in huge trouble 😥
Having said that,it looks like Schmitt will needd supporting through this month also,so Sam will have to be strong for him
Totally praying 🙏 you will be able to squeeze in Stephen Kings brilliant classic "Pet Sematary (1989)" this month, that will be an amazing reaction for this channel

Loved the reaction! The teacher you said that looked familiar is the actress that plays in Insidious. She's several years older now.

I agree with Aimee. The others are forgettable but 3 and New Nightmare are standouts.

Sequels are a VERY mixed bag with these slasher franchises. Worth going through once on your own time but most of them aren’t good unfortunatley. Stay far, far away from the remakes.

My sister and I watched this movie (and the sequels) so often during our childhood that I’ve forgotten how terrifying it can be seeing it for the first time. The concept is brilliant—with all other horror monsters you can hide or otherwise get away, but Freddy kills you somewhere you can’t avoid—in your sleep.
I wouldn’t recommend the sequels unless you’re a real Elm Street fan like me, with the exceptions being Nightmare 3 and New Nightmare, both of which also feature Nancy.

"Nooo... this is too much."
It's almost 40 years-old now but, I swear, Tina's death is still one of the most terrifying scenes in any horror movie!
edit: Fun fact. Wes Craven got the idea for this after reading about a bunch of students (in Korea, I wanna say?!) that were terrified to go to sleep and some of them actually did die in their sleep, even though there didn't appear to be anything physically wrong with them!
