Haha, they didn't translate everything word to word. Those insults in prison were more colorful than in English :D

"He lives here" :D Oh, Red Heat, and these times when Hollywood thought actors should talk Russian. Sometimes you cannot understand what they say without English subtitles :D Of course, lots of nostalgic memories. One of cool Arnie movies from the childhood.

The fact that you're going into this thinking it is a comedy like Twins or Kindergarten Cop is in of itself... HILARIOUS.

It's a hell of a coincidence, just bought this one a couple of weeks ago but I hadn't had a chance to watch it yet. So when I saw this video come up, I had a perfect reason to sit down and watch along. I really enjoyed it too, thanks!
The director, producer and co-writer, Walter Hill, was involved in a lot of great films, including various writing and producing credits for the Alien franchise. I can recommend his 1981 movie, Southern Comfort, a thriller about National Guardsman who run into trouble in the swamps of Louisiana. There's one that isn't talked about enough. He was also heavily involved in the classic HBO horror anthology series, Tales From The Crypt.

Fun fact about this film you can read about on IMDB trivia, their permit to film in the Red Square in Russia was denied, so they had to basically steal those shots, they had to hop out of vans, using smaller hand held cameras to make it look like they were filming a home movie lol
