Some Like It Hot is a must-see)

Khaidar

The Princess Bride is a great classic comedy!

Catherine LW

DuJour means friendship!

Tyler Foster

Wow! Another Josie and the Pussycats fan. That movie is crazy funny.

Jen Barnes

The Guard is great! Don't see many other fans of that one.

Tyler Foster

I don't know if "Classic Comedies" is a different list, but there's also the Marx Brothers masterpieces, Duck Soup and A Night At The Opera. Or the Billy Wilder movies - Some Like It Hot or The Apartment.

Neal Romanek

Thank you for the recommendations everyone!

TBR Schmitt

You got it! -Sam

Comedy suggestions: Game Night, Step Brothers, Trading Places, In Bruges, The Guard (2011), Galaxy Quest, and Office Space. You're welcome. ;)

Jen Barnes

Want to add to “The List” the comedy “Better Off Dead” 1985.

The two Coens that seem to escape notice are Hudsucker and Miller's Crossing, but these days it feels like Miller's Crossing has the reputation of being their "forgotten masterpiece," and Hudsucker is still largely ignored (which is no criticism of Crossing, which is truly great). Of course, to that end, I would essentially recommend TBR cover the entire Coen filmography -- almost all of them are incredible.

Tyler Foster

Agree, I love this film (Hudsucker Proxy), standard quirky film by the Coen Bros. I mention this film to many so called Coen Bros fans and they have never watched it.

Allister Fiend

The Hudsucker Proxy is one of the great, underappreciated Coen Bros movies.

Neal Romanek

Tom Cruise in "Risky Business"

Mr. Writhms

The Grand Budapest Hotel, Tropic Thunder and This is the End would be great for future polls if you haven’t seen them!

Mitchy D

Wow! Thank you for all of the suggestions! We'll keep these in mind for the next polls :) -Sam

TBR Schmitt

Some other really good underappreciated comedies: • A New Leaf (1971) • Heaven Can Wait (1978) • Strange Brew (1983) • Midnight Run (1988) • The Hudsucker Proxy (1994) • The Cable Guy (1996) • Josie and the Pussycats (2001)

Tyler Foster

Not sure what would happen if it got onto a poll because it's kind of obscure, but I would love to see someone cover the excellent 1998 comedy-mystery Zero Effect. Just an extremely funny, well-written little gem.
