An aged librarian watches over the second floor with eagle eyes as he makes his rounds, eagerly checking off the usual boxes upon a clipboard list. He is wary now. There have been more than a few wayward adventurers who have endeavored to make away with unique or priceless materials for the past few days. When he reached the head of the stairs, the sound of books hitting the ground prompted him to turn quickly, catching sight of a young goliath sprinting towards him. In her hands, a thick volume with the inscription "Tome of Mystical Tattoos" - quite the read. The librarian smirked, dropping his invisibility spell. The wide-eyed goliath immediately tried to turn tail, but it was too late. The librarian was already waving his nimble hands as branches from the enchanted, central tree began to slither quickly across the library floor towards the bewildered burglar.
