Details on Goldberg's retirement

Goldberg did an interview this week and noted that his retirement match was going to be in "the south." Sources that Fightful Select have spoken with have been telling us this week that tentatively it has been planned for Atlanta. Goldberg long called Atlanta home, in addition to playing football for the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons.
Even more strategic is that while not officially announced, internally Saturday Night's Main Event is slated for Saturday, July 12. This is the same day as AEW All In.
While nothing is official, and we can't confirm that will be the actual retirement of Goldberg, he is absolutely being discussed for that planned show.
