Hi Sean. Currently, many wrestlers often talk about how it was always their dream to compete for WWE or have a WrestleMania moment. How long do you think it will take until young, future wrestlers say that AEW was their childhood dream and they want to have an All-In moment, for example?
I would say we're not that far out. I'll give you a good example. In 2018, Chris Bey made his TNA debut. Not long after that, people found his Youtube videos where he said his dream was to become X Division Champion. That was 16 years into TNA's life cycle, but he was debuting for them at 22. It's not unreasonable to think that there were people in his position inspired by AEW in 2019/2020.
Any chance of another season of Southpaw Regional Wrestling?
Not only have I not heard any discussion of Southpaw Regional Wrestling recently, I haven't heard anything about it since the pandemic. I asked some people involved, and they had never been told anything new about it in years. Almost everyone involved with it is now gone.
