Original hopes for Darby Allin

Darby has been out of action since after the Continental Classic draw in New York City he had with Ricochet. He’d long been planned to climb Mt. Everest, something he’s spoken about pursuing for years.
When Fightful asked in January about his status, we were told he was already off television and wasn’t expected to return until Spring. Fightful recently asked about when he was expected to be back. We had been told that upon Allin’s absence, the hope was that he would be back by the Owen Hart tournament and be featured on the Double or Nothing card. We’ve not heard an update since then, however.
The typical climb of Everest can take between six to ten weeks.
