This year’s WrestleMania week features WWE talent heavily featured on Bloodsport. A WWE ID tournament at other indie shows. The WWE Hall of Fame as its own event. WWE After Parties. The Roast of WrestleMania.
Fightful was told by WWE sources that the company looked to capitalize more off of WrestleMania week, and specifically looked at creating or participating in some already proven concepts along the way. We’ve not been told if this will be the case at other major WWE weekends, but were told the success of things like Bloodsport, WaleMania and additional parties led to more and more being pitched within the company.
One source we spoke to said that this week is going to be instrumental in seeing what events they retain in future years or even future PLE weekends.
