Added 2025-03-06 21:06:30 +0000 UTCTony Khan held a media call today to talk AEW Revolution. Fightful was on the call and has live notes. Refresh this page to see more as it goes on.
Tony Khan tells Jason Powell that Max is still in the plans for AEW PPVs, even with Amazon. Max is working to build the infrastructure.
Tony Khan tells Courtney of Women's Wrestling Talk that an all-women's show is definitely a possibility. He said one of the best shows and biggest gates they've done was Grand Slam Australia main evented by Toni Storm and Mariah May.
Tony says that sometimes he's been too collaborative and needs to push back creatively. He's jumped more into creative of late, as he did at the start of 2020, and feels as if the show has improved both times he's done that.
Tony spoke highly of Shane Taylor Promotions to Bill Pritchard. He put over Lee Moriarty, Shane Taylor and The Infantry
Tony Khan is asked by Samantha Shipman about the potential of an ROH TV deal. He says he's had talks domestically and internationally, but he's not rushing it.
Tony Khan is asked by Andrew Baydala about running Crypto/Staples Arena. He says he's a big fan of the Lakers and it's a dream come true.
Tony Khan is asked about production meetings. He says he's had a number this week alone. He'll have meetings with coaches, producers, and others, and then collectively.
Tony Khan tells Dave Meltzer that releases are a case by case basis. He said it's different from what he's been doing, but thinks it was best for the company.
Tony Khan says that AEW All In holds the world record for wrestling ticket sales on an event with 81,035, and even has a plaque from Live Nation. He says they've got their all-time high viewership in the UK recently.
The call has ended.

2025-03-08 02:14:59 +0000 UTCWhich is funny considering the big knock on TK is "he can't book/can't do creative," but when Fightful reported a little while ago that he had been fairly hands-off and is now diving back into the deep end and taking the wheel, I also feel the shows lately have been WAYYY better.

2025-03-08 02:13:32 +0000 UTCThere was some debate around turnstile numbers and actual attendance on the day but I don’t think anyone disputes the sales figure.

2025-03-06 23:13:16 +0000 UTCCreative has always been better when TK is more hands on with it. These past few months are proof.
