In addition to taking themselves seriously, lawyers will also argue about anything. A debate ensued about whether it was appropriate for kombucha to be consumed during work since it has a low level of alcohol from the fermentation. After a few days of arguing about this, people concluded it was fine. On Friday that week, to try to pop the boys, I put a non-alcoholic beer in the fridge, took it out during lunch, and then slowly drank it while it was prominently displayed on my desk. People were not happy about it and I got a talking to. How am I in trouble for drinking a Non-Alcoholic beer, while this lady is drinking actual booze? You have my back, right?

Something you enjoy because you used to love it when you were younger, but no one else seems to ever talk about it or like it, and if you discovered it NOW you probably wouldn’t like it either. Example: I used to think, “man Vince is an underrated commentator” solely cuz I started watching wrestling when I was 6 and Shawn JUST won the belt the first time and Vince was the voice of it all. So for years I felt Vince should have been in the conversation for one of the best commentators….until I watched some new generation matches recently, listened to how he did his commentary back then with 2025 ears and thought, “oh, nvm. This man does not know how wrestling works lol”
