Many on social media have speculated that the trademark is a new ring name for Sol Ruca, whose real name is Calyx. However, sources in WWE claim that's not the case.
However, it is for a familiar face.
Those close to the situation say that it's actually for Jessika Carr of all people. The wrestler-turned-WWE ref was said to be a part of the Evolve tapings recently, where she wrestled under a mask. WWE has already filmed six episodes, and we're told she was on the fourth, working a tag team match. The two were "already in the ring" ahead of the match and didn't get a typical entrance.
The 33-year old Karr wrestled for years on the independent circuit as Kennadi Brink and Jessie Kaye, as well as an NXT appearance as Kennedy Lewis. Upon getting hired by WWE, she became a full-time referee.
