Legends discussed for WWE HOF

Here comes the Ax, here comes the Smasher….to the Hall of Fame?

On February 12, PWInsider reported that Ax and Smash of Demolition have been signed to WWE Legends deals. This ends decades of contention with the company, stemming from their departure and a number of lawsuits over Demolition copyrights, among other things.

WWE will be able to license and merchandise Ax and Smash, as well as Demolition. This isn’t the first time this has happened, as they were in the WWE 12 video game and have had action figures from WWE in the past.

However, a first would be the WWE Hall of Fame, which has had a glaring omission of the once record-breaking tag team. Fightful Select has been told under the current regime the three-time WWF Tag Team Champions have been brought up as potential inductees. We’ve not heard if it has been nailed down.

We were not told if Crush, portrayed by Brian Adams, was considered as a part of the group for the Hall of Fame. Crush was a member of Demolition for a year, and ended up spending about six years in total in WWE. He was a member of the Nation of Domination, NWO, and the hugely popular WCW Tag Team Champion Kronik.

If they didn't go to WWE in the invasion they would be remembered as an average tag team.

Demolition was my fave tag team as a kid, love this news.

The Mayor Pete

I unironically loved Kronik. I might be alone.

Obviously they're saving Adams for when Kronik headlines the 2027 HOF class.

Should have been resolved years ago. They held tag team records and been kept away for nonsense. Leave it to Triple Paul to continue to bring old timers back into the fold.

Scott George

Kronik, oh boy. What a time.

Shannon Willis

They better not induct Brian Adams with John Blud in town.

TorchCrawler

This isn't going to help the feelings towards Def Rebel when that banger of a song starts playing on TV.
