Expected landing point for big free agent

Josh Alexander's deal with TNA Wrestling has expired as of February 14, 2025. PWInsider has reported that Alexander is being repped by wrestling super agent Barry Bloom, of which Fightful can confirm, along with another member of Bloom's team. As of late in the day of February 14, it looked like Alexander's landing point was set.
Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp has learned that those within AEW, near Alexander and in the industry that Josh Alexander was expected to sign with AEW if he hasn't already. WWE sources had confirmed that he'd at least not signed there. There had been interest in the company using him last year.
We've not learned if the deal is officially signed as of yet, but AEW is the expected landing point.

That is why Ricochet made the jump and he looks great and seems to really be enjoying himself. And both companies hit with some and miss with other talent. With AEW seemingly building back up the Trios and Tag divisions, there will be more spots for talent on TV.

Whether it’s ROH, AEW, NJPW, or CMLL he’ll get a chance there. He even mentions he doesn’t give a shit about the crowd size, he’a doing his thing for the graps community and solely them. Can’t wait to see him in AEW.

Alexander could of helped NXT mens division & I think The North mixing it up with the likes of MCMG DIY Street Profits War Raiders Creeds New Day Fraxiom LWO LDF & Lucha Bros (once Fenix comes in) could of been great but I’m sure he will do great things in AEW I worry he could get lost in the shuffle but like any wrestlers regardless of company I’m rooting for them to succeed. I’ll never understand tribalism it’s been cool seeing the likes of Penta Jordyne Grace & Ricky Starks this year show up in WWE. It has been cool seeing Megan Bayne show up in AEW. I’m really excited to see Aleister Black Rusev & Rey Fenix in WWE. I’m also very excited to see what Speedball & Josh Alexander can do in AEW
