Whoever he is talking about behaved in a way that irritated others in the match. Why is there more to this? Priest and Drew are being positioned as the top 2 on Smackdown long term... This feud is likely a chance for both to work for the chance to be number 1. So not quite as mid card as made out. Who might have a reason to "go into business for themselves" to get involved somehow on hearing about the plans as odd one out?... YEAH!

It was LA Knight. Meltzer alluded to Drew being mad at someone, but that he hadn’t noticed the issue when it happened. Alvarez speculated that Knight seemed to get in the way of the Logan/Drew/Damian elimination spot, and Meltzer complimented his perceptiveness.

I read that Drew was frustrated about working a mid card program for WrestleMania instead of something more significant. Whoever he was upset with in the Royal Rumble Match just gave him something else to be upset about.

I always wonder with Drew if there’s a simmering resentment for him continually getting passed over. I couldn’t blame him if he had a sense of being owed more. Based off the work he did in the Punk feud, you’d figure he would be a fixture at the top and now it looks like his stock in the hierarchy has taken a drop.

If it's not Paul, it's gotta be Knight. They were the two who made Drew's elimination look off. I had assumed it was Paul gloating and showboating that caused a delay in Knight attacking to clear the area for Priest/Drew but I guess not.

The Daily Mail article said Drew was annoyed at someone who, to quote the article, “tried to take centre stage when McIntyre's elimination was due to take place.” Watching his elimination back, I think it might have been LA Knight.

I don't know anything, but I would wager that A) This isn't the first time that person's done it and/or B) Whatever happened was unplanned. Again, idk shit though. WWE needs to be a better job of avoiding situations like this in the future. It's clear Drew was already frustrated when he found out he would be in a mid-card program for WrestleMania. Whatever happened in the Royal Rumble just gave him another reason to be upset. Making sure your top talent is happy should always be a top priority.
