But in WWE, good matches with predictable endings are about as good as we can hope for. We also got a hell of a promo from Kevin Owens, making his all-but-certain defeat next week at the Royal Rumble all that much more disappointing.
Over on Collision, we got a near-perfect episode of AEW's Saturday offering, including a scintillating brawl, some great tag action, three of the greatest Japanese wrestlers of all time putting in work, a new #1 contender for Mercedes Mone (make that two, in all probability), a mini-episode of MTV Cribs starring Don Callis, and one of the greatest in-ring segments in this company's still-young history.
But it wasn't quite perfect.
