A former world champion had what is planned to be his last match.
Christopher Daniels is effectively retired from in ring competition, Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp is told. Daniels lost to Hangman Page in a Texas Death Match, which is supposed to serve as Daniels' last match.
We've learned that Daniels had been looking to have his last match and officially retire for quite some time.
Daniels competed in AEW, NJPW, ROH, TNA, WWF, ECW, AAA, NWA, AJPW, NOAH, ZERO1, MLW, CMLL among a number of other companies.
