Malakai Black-AEW udpate

My thoughts are in line with many here: Black, Andrade and Miro all signed not because they wanted to be in AEW, but because it was the best (in terms of money) option out there. All gone solid initial pushes then sorta went sideways.

Like Tators said, he was arguing that you shouldnt believe the stories about his injured back only to actually suggest he was off tv at the time due to a knee injury. So it was a specific detail that he was arguing over instead of the general idea that he was injured at the time

Every books has there ups & downs while a lot of people did well in AEW Black to me falls under the Andrade category of someone who Tony just didn't know how to book & it’s like Andrade it feels like ever since Triple H took creative that he wanted back in WWE. I hope Tony didn’t pick up the option years & the guy is free to go back to WWE. Regardless of if it’s AEW or WWE I want talent to be happy

I’m a fan of Malaki Black, love the house of Black, but he isn’t what he was in NXT due to injuries. His match with Adam Cole was bad, and it wasn’t due to Cole. I hope he finds success in WWE, but I hope all of the people thinking we will see NXT Alister Black curb their expectation.
