Becky Lynch-WWE update

Becky Lynch's highly anticipated return didn't take place on Raw, to the surprise of fans and talent. Fightful Select had reported that talent did expect to see her on the show. However, not only was she not on the show, she wasn't at the show. She was not planned for the Raw-Netflix debut, and her appearance wasn't cut, as was speculated.
However, that doesn't indicate her future with WWE. It was confirmed that after her deal had lapsed in 2024, Becky Lynch has since agreed to a contract with WWE. She appeared at some Netflix related events, but had told people she was just there supporting. However, she's always planned to make a return, and both WWE and Lynch expected to do business together again.
Lynch was not at Raw on Netflix, and we're told that as of the end of 2024 that neither her WrestleMania plans or return plans had been solidified. Those we spoke to did expect her to be factored in.

2025-01-08 04:04:07 +0000 UTCBecky Lynch should be & hopefully now is the highest paid woman in wrestling. Had a great run with the NXT Woman’s title helped them get the CW deal while elevating Tiff & Lyra. She then held the world title when Rhea got hurt & put Liv over on the way out twice

2025-01-08 00:35:19 +0000 UTCI thought Becky might come out if Liv Morgan had retained the belt. But it didn't really make sense for her to come out with Rhea winning. They should save her for the Royal Rumble at this point, that way it's a fun "surprise".

2025-01-07 22:20:55 +0000 UTCBecky lynch has been in trading card sets for the entire time she was “not under contract” - there has never been an instance where her likeness and name would be able to be used in a WWE licensed card set without a contract in place with the company. It’s unlikely she was ever without a contract.
