NJPW interested in former WWE talent

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported on a number of upcoming NJPW contract expirations. But New Japan has also been considering bringing new talent in, including one that could turn heads.
Fightful Select has learned that New Japan Pro Wrestling has shown interest in Tom Pestock, the former Baron Corbin. We’re told the two sides have been in contact, but we aren’t sure how deep those talks are.
Pestock was at AEW Worlds End visiting friends.
