This one might take some time for you to get an answer for. I was at the Dynamite in KC two weeks ago. Front row. That show was HOT the first 45 minutes. Everyone was standing throughout the action, as the matches were incredible. Security (not sure if it’s AEW, or arena employees) came down at 45 minutes and said “fans have complained back behind that you guys are standing, and they can’t see. We aren’t telling you to sit, but communicating that they’re asking you to sit”. No one started sitting. Then, 20 minutes later, security TOLD us all to sit during the matches. I’m curious what AEW’s stance on this is. I get it from both sides. I’ve had 4-5 row seats, and had to stand the whole show to see, and never complained. But I also now have paid for front row, and wanted to stand. And I’d imagine that a great, cheering crowd is good for the product, as that’s what the TV viewers are seeing. A hot product. Fans going nuts for the cool spots that they’re seeing during these hot matches. No one that I saw up front was being obnoxious, or disrespectful. When security told me I had to sit, k sat. I didn’t want to cause trouble, or get ejected. But it didn’t feel right. And I want to know what AEW’s stance on this is.
