Big Speedball Bailey Update

Last week, Fightful Select reported that Speedball Mike Bailey is expected to go to All Elite Wrestling. We can confirm that is the working plan, but Bailey's deal with TNA is not officially up, although he did effectively finish up with the company at the Detroit tapings.
Fightful had previously reported that Bailey's deal was up at the end of the year, which was reiterated to us today is accurate. However, he was able to talk to outside companies starting in November.
As of now unless some measure is taken to otherwise allow it, Bailey would be unable to work the Continental Classic.

They just can't afford to compete in terms of contracts. I think they do the best with what they have and have made peace with their position on the wrestling food chain.

2024-11-19 21:13:41 +0000 UTCA massive loss for TNA, though. It keeps feeling like TNA's just a stepping stone for talent before they go to AEW and WWE for most wrestlers that go there. I consider it a miracle that guys like Moose & Eddie Edwards have been there for as long as they have.
