There were some talent that we spoke to who said the had seen and heard the same, but weren’t sure if it was a part of a grander work for the show.
Fightful Select reached out to the Street Profits and WWE about the duos contract status, and didn’t get a concrete answer on their future. There was no clear indication that the two had their deals coming up soon, or if they’d re-sign.
Street Profits had signed multi-year contracts back in 2019, but we aren’t sure of the length. Montez Ford had only said “still thinking about it” when he was asked about his future in wrestling, and hadn’t provided additional context.
Street Profits are slated to compete for the tag team titles on Smackdown Friday.

They have a lot of teams that can do some great things but they arent using them unless they’re counting the lights. This is just another reason why I missed the brand split for PLEs
