Any updates on AJ Styles? Or have I just missed them?
Both AJ Styles and sources within WWE have been steadfast in the claim that he was legitimately injured. There were a lot of things initially that didn't pass the smell test -- showing him on camera, filming him limping off, the impromptu trainer segment, filming him leaving on crutches. If it's a work, it's one of the most protected ones in recent memory.
Is Mercedes Martinez still with AEW/ROH?
Technically, yes. She's still listed as under contract, and is on the AEW roster page, and internally. She hasn't wrestled on any AEW or ROH shows for months, and I've not heard of her being backstage of late. Although the latter is always possible.
CM Punk mentioned he would be against doing Saudi shows on Pardon My Take a while back. Is that why he’s off this one?
This was a planned absence, and that was the reason we were given. We were always told the earliest return for him would be November 11th, and that's not a guarantee. WWE sources had claimed that he wasn't planned for either Saudi show this year.
