Do a lot of wrestlers have Scott Boras type sports agents or do they tend to negotiate contracts, etc. on their own?
Agents are becoming far more prevalent in wrestling. Almost all of the bigger names are represented by an agent, manager, lawyer or general rep. The use goes well beyond negotiating contracts, especially since WWE has relaxed rules on third brand deals
Will there be any cuts to WWE/NXT talents towards the end of this year/next year ?
This isn't a thing that is widely planned or discussed across the company. I've never personally heard "more cuts are coming in the spring, summer, etc," from WWE, and have only ever heard from one company ahead of time that they were happening. Any outlet reporting that they know more cuts are coming months ahead likely are not being genuine.
Have you heard if AEW are interested in bringing in:Mike Bailey/Josh Alexander/Mustafa Ali/Megan Bayne/Dijak Lately?👀 or anyone else in general apart from Shelton/Bobby/MVP
Dijak was backstage at an AEW show, but we've not heard of any imminent plans. Josh Alexander and Mike Bailey are both under contract, but the latter was visiting at an AEW show this summer. Megan Bayne has long been of interest with AEW and has been a name that occasionally gets pitched. Mustafa Ali is a free agent, and has been the subject to a few pitches but was never brought in.
Comments
Reminder that AEW had Megan Bayne under contract decided to not bring her back
