Chris Bey injury update | FREE POST

The match and show were ended, with only the post-show meet and greet following the injury. We don't have details on how the injury occurred, but that it looked to be a very serious one.
Bey was taken to a hospital with a neck injury, and underwent surgery. We're told that he's recovering, but details beyond that will be kept private.
Bey is widely adored within TNA Wrestling, and was a big part of the company repairing its relationship with NJPW. New Japan requested him for dates years ago after years of not working with TNA.
We send our love to Chris Bey, and wish him well in recovery.

2024-10-28 16:52:38 +0000 UTCI was there and saw it as it happened. We could tell something was wrong before he hit the mat. Ace and Bey were going for the 1-2-Sweet. Bey was going for The Art of Finesse (cutter) and Matt Hardy went to reverse it with a cutter of his own. The top of Chris's head hit the top of Matt's shoulder very hard. The ref quickly went to check on him and he was talking and it looked like his hands were moving. They finished the match with a Jeff Hardy leg drop and then the match ended. The main event of that Impact was cancelled (and any other match that may have came before). They still held the advertised Joe Hendry/Jeff Hardy post-show concert.
