SRS, Thanks for all your hard work; it is appreciated by so many of us. Around May of 2023, it was reported that Nashville would host a Wrestlemania, potentially in 2027, as a part of their new stadium agreement with local government. Do you know if this plan has changed in any way? Or does WWE still plan to hold Wrestlemania in the future?
This is a tough one to tackle. I'm not saying this is the case specifically here, but major stadium shows are subject to a lot of politics. We've seen it happen with Minneapolis twice. There's someone in the city in a position of power who thinks it would benefit the city or themselves financially to land a major event. Many times, a city official will leak that they're the "front runner" to local stations to show WWE or other companies the local excitement. However, it doesn't always work out like that. Depending on if venues are county or privately owned, sometimes they'll want to land major events like this to chip away at the economic impact of building said venue.
Is Dr Amann with WWE still? If so, howโs he dealing with Punk given he heads up their medical team?
Yes, he remains with WWE, though I've not heard of any interactions with he and CM Punk. If they were to fire him immediately upon CM Punk's arrival, not only would he have a lawsuit on his hands, it would just restart the vicious cycle that led to Punk being back in WWE in the first place. Amann was actually on Smackdown during the segment in which AJ Styles was injured.
Any update on the AEW/FOX talks?
I've not heard of anything imminent on that front. No deal is finalized
